Signal to Noise Ratio of a Coded Slit Hyperspectral Sensor

چکیده
In recent years, a wide range of hyperspectral imaging systems using coded apertures have been proposed. Many implement compressive sensing to achieve faster acquisition data cube, but it is also potentially beneficial use aperture in sensors that capture full-rank (non-compressive) measurements. this paper we analyse the signal-to-noise ratio for such sensor, which uses Hadamard code pattern slits instead single slit typical pushbroom spectrometer. We show sensor may performance advantages situations where dominant noise sources do not depend on signal level; Shot dominates conventional single-slit would be more effective. These results implications utility systems.

Effect of signal to noise ratio on the speech perception ability of older adults
Background: Speech perception ability depends on auditory and extra-auditory elements. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is an extra-auditory element that has an effect on the ability to normally follow speech and maintain a conversation. Speech in noise perception difficulty is a common complaint of the elderly. In this study, the importance of SNR magnitude as an extra-auditory effect on speech...
متن کاملSignal-to-Noise Ratio Estimation
Of the many measures that characterize the performance of a communication receiver, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is perhaps the most fundamental in that many of the other measures directly depend on its knowledge for their evaluation. In the design of receivers for autonomous operation, it is desirable that the estimation of SNR take place with as little known information as possible regarding o...

Signal-to-noise ratio of the MEG signal after preprocessing.
BACKGROUND Magnetoencephalography (MEG) provides a direct measure of brain activity with high combined spatiotemporal resolution. Preprocessing is necessary to reduce contributions from environmental interference and biological noise. NEW METHOD The effect on the signal-to-noise ratio of different preprocessing techniques is evaluated. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) was defined as the ratio ...
